Alex Corina has over 25 years experience, working strategically, and as a practitioner in the arts and creative industries with a particular emphasises on community arts, regeneration, education, training, and employment.

He has established an excellent reputation in arts development, project management, marketing and event planning.

Alex led a campaign to create a Cultural Village in Garston in the run up to the capital of Culture. As Artistic Director during 2008 he was responsible for a community arts programme, working with local schools, promoting and supporting local artists and creating opportunities in the community.

He moved his studio to a former Conservative Club in 2003. Eighteen months ago he bought the building to convert into a live/work space with a flat upstairs and a studio/gallery downstairs.

Now renamed the Garston Art Works, this has become a venue for regular exhibitions, events and work with local schools.
